Prudential Kelowna Properties

Prudential Kelowna Properties is a boutique real estate office serving the Central Okanagan area. We are a full service real estate company that has been helping people in the Okanagan with their real estate needs for over 16 years. We know the people of the valley and we know the real estate of the valley.

We also care about the valley. We are perhaps the "greenest" real estate company in BC. Prudential Kelowna Properties has been storing files electronically for more than 6 years. This has saved many trees as well as car trips to the office since most documents are sent electronically.

Our new location was chosen speicifically because the building was the "greenest" building available at the time. Geothermal heating and cooling and state of the art flourescent lighting was just the beginning.

We used limited amounts of drywall for finishing and chose component dividers from a green company and did not use carpets on the floors which will save lots of land fill space when we move out. In fact almost all of our improvements can be used again in our next location.

We estimate that we have been able to save the equivilant of removing 5 of our sales peoples cars from the road each year by reducing trips to the office. We were able to do this by pushing documents electronically to sales people, paying customers and sales people electronically as well as collecting rents electronically.

We have given away more than 12,000 reusable shopping bags and over 600 compact flourescent light bulbs to encourage our clients and friends to be more environmentally friendly as well.

We have pursued the "greening" of our business because it makes economic sense and because we care about the environment here in the valley.

When we have a choice to deal with a "green" company, we choose the "green" alternative. We hope that you will too.
